Parametric Urban Furniture Workshop
21st - 24th December 2009

Introduction:

This workshop examines the experimental parametric design methods in the field of architecture and their implementation into the academic settings. Due to the short time frame certain parameters had to be considered:

- Concept and idea

- Site context

- Programming fundamentals (RhinoScript & Grasshopper)

- Fabrication 1:1

The development of spatial configurations in coherence with material and structural considerations was actively encouraged. The studies and results are the output of a 4 day workshop with 15 students at the TAMKANG University, Taipei.

Th 12/24 0900-1500 fabrication, installation
